Why is it so difficult for us to speak to a stranger on the street?
For the most people it is a strange thought to walk to a woman in a park or on the street and to start a conversation with her. You may feel overwhelmed with the anxiety of getting rejected or making the woman feel uncomfortable. What is if she thinks “I am weird” or the conversation turns into an uncomfortable silence? You don’t want to expose yourself. We’ve all felt rejection at one time or another. Some people experience higher anxiety in general, it is more likely for them to feel anxious about speaking to a stranger than for others. If you want to get to know somebody in real life, you will need to overcome your anxiety and practice small talk with strangers. To get some practical example for approaches, check out my video below.
